The head of every AEC2232bX is built to order around one of five sensor technologies, so a single
fixed gas detection system covers the full range of gas risks on your site. Choose a catalytic or NDIR
head for a combustible gas detector — methane, propane, butane or hydrogen — an electrochemical
head when it must act as a toxic gas detector, or a PID head for ppm-level VOC leaks.
Refineries often fit a combination explosive gas and carbon monoxide alarm to catch both flammable
releases and CO exposure at the same point, while fermentation, cold-storage and controlled-
atmosphere areas pair a carbon dioxide sensor with an oxygen (O2) detector. Where a control room or
tanker-loading bay must watch several hazards at once, a multi-gas detector build is available on
request; for turnaround and confined-space entry teams, ACTION also supplies portable gas detectors
and portable gas leak detectors.
