One methane leak on a compressor deck can shut down a terminal for weeks. One
undetected H2S release at a sour-gas valve room can cost lives. ACTION has spent 28
years building gas detection systems for the natural gas chain — from wellhead to city
gate — and ships a SIL2- and CE-certified natural gas detector, methane detector and
H2S gas detector with layouts, alarm setpoints and integration documentation your EPC
can approve on the first pass. It is a complete gas detection system for oil and gas
operations, not a box of standalone gas leak detectors.
Every ACTION gas safety system follows a proven three-layer architecture that maps directly to your
plant's DCS/SCADA standard:
every leak source, positioned
per gas density (CH4 above,
H2S below, CO at breathing
height)
32 channels) with per-channel
relays driving shut-off valves,
fans and sounders — safety

Where jetty control rooms, analyzer shelters or loading racks face several hazards in one spot, a multi-
gas detector can combine a combustible gas detector with a toxic gas detector and an oxygen (O2)
detector on a common controller. For vessel entry, tank inspections and maintenance in remote valve
rooms, ACTION supplies portable gas detectors and portable gas leak detectors that use the same
calibration standards as the fixed gas detection system — so the readings crews trust on site match
the readings in the control room.
