The entire “check-up” takes just one minute, strengthening household safety defenses.

At the inspection site, staff used a telescopic detection device resembling a selfie stick to perform tests. In just about 10 seconds, the detector emitted a beeping sound, indicating normal operation. This “portable check-up device” was developed by ACTION over the course of a year and completed in early August 2025. Its compact and portable design makes detection effortless and highly efficient.

For ordinary users, the “portable check-up device” offers tremendous convenience. Previously, users found it difficult to determine whether their household smart gas detector was functioning properly, as it rarely issued alarms in daily use. Now, by connecting the device and extending the detection rod near the detector, the audible “beep, beep, beep” confirms the detector’s sensitivity and effectiveness. One homeowner remarked, “It never beeped before, so I had no idea if it was working. Now, with this test, I feel reassured.” This simple and intuitive process allows users to promptly understand their detector’s status and eliminate potential hazards.

In the past, inspections required removing the device and sending it to a laboratory, with results taking 10-15 days.
